So, I’ve been listening to TuNe-YaRdS’ “W h o k i l l” almost non-stop for the past couple of weeks, and I think I might be a little bit obsessed. I’ve been trying to figure out why, and after watching almost the entirety of her YouTube catalog (not even kidding…) I think this one finally helped me figure out why. There’s this wonderful, goofy sweetness and humility about her performances and music that’s really, well—inspiring. You can tell that she’s doing exactly what she’s always wanted to do, and she’s so incredibly happy about it. It’s rare most people ever figure out what their “thing” is, but Merrill’s got me convinced that I’ll figure it out. Eventually.
